Hello
I'm Yasmin Abdoulraman
Doctoral Student
Scope: Assessments
Language: English
I am currently a doctoral student at Adler University in the Clinical Psychology program. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. My Master’s thesis focused on sex differences in social and cognitive functioning in individuals with a schizophrenia spectrum diagnosis.
As a practicum student, I am dedicated to helping clients learn more about themselves through the assessment process. I am an advocate of self-discovery and exploration for all. I believe that learning the details of our individual selves is a pivotal first step for future change.
My main areas of interest include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and psychoeducational assessments. In my spare time, I enjoy going for city walks or hikes, reading up on anything psychology, and spending time with family and friends.
