Hello
I'm Jasmine Gish
Doctoral Student
Scope: Assessments
Language: English
I’m currently a clinical psychology doctoral graduate student at Adler University in Vancouver, B.C. I previously earned my Honours Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Toronto, where I assisted with developmental research in the Toronto Early Cognitions Lab, exploring how children learn and develop cognitively. I later worked at Sunnybrook Research Institute on clinical trials focused on treatment outcomes for anxiety, depression, and obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD).
As a practicum student, I am passionate about using assessment as a tool for clarity and growth. My goal is to work collaboratively with clients to better understand both the challenges they are facing and the strengths they can draw upon. I view assessment as a way of creating meaningful insights that can guide treatment planning, educational supports, and personal well-being.
I am very interested in psychological and psychoeducational assessment across the lifespan, and in how research-informed practices can be used to make the assessment process both accurate and supportive. I find it especially rewarding to help clients gain a clearer picture of their cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning.
Outside of school and clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, being with friends, reading, and discovering new places to eat!
